For rapid, non-invasive assessment of Peripheral Arterial Disease, to prevent heart disease and stroke
At Dialog Devices, we develop innovative optical technologies to help meet the overwhelming demand for better healthcare.
Through advances in opto-electronics, we can now use natural light to 'see' below the surface of the skin.
Our technology is revolutionising the way medical conditions are diagnosed and monitored; improving the health and well-being of people around the world.
Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) affects around 8-10 million people in US alone. People who experience symptoms of PAD have a 15 times greater risk of dying from cardiovascular disease, including heart attack and stroke, and a 1 in 4 chance of dying within 2 years. Many of these deaths are preventable if PAD is diagnosed earlier.
